Stainless steel contains chromium and nickel, which provide excellent corrosion resistance. Thus, stainless steel brackets are suitable for harsh environments such as humid or acidic/alkaline conditions.

Aluminum alloys naturally form an oxide layer on the surface, offering some corrosion resistance. However, in strong acidic or alkaline environments, this resistance can diminish, making aluminum brackets less corrosion-resistant than stainless steel ones.

Generally, stainless steel brackets are more expensive than aluminum ones, especially grades like 304 and 316. However, certain high-performance or specialized aluminum alloys may cost more than ordinary stainless steel.

Stainless steel brackets have strong corrosion resistance, require minimal maintenance, and have a long service life.

Aluminum brackets, being less corrosion-resistant, may need additional maintenance in harsh environments, increasing costs.

Stainless steel brackets are heavy, hard, and corrosion-resistant, making them ideal for industries like chemicals, marine, food processing, and healthcare, where high strength and corrosion resistance are critical.

Aluminum brackets are lightweight, have good electrical and thermal conductivity, and decent corrosion resistance, making them commonly used in aerospace, automotive, and electronics industries, where weight reduction and heat dissipation are important.
